The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has imposed travel bans on six countries in view of the new type of corona.
According to ARY News, 6 countries Hong Kong, Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana have been included in Category C in view of the threat of new type of Corona Omicron by NCOC.
NCOC chief Asad Umar said that a complete ban on travel from Pakistan to African countries has been imposed, which will take effect immediately.
He said that a notification has been issued banning travel from 6 African countries and Hong Kong.
After which direct and indirect domestic travel from these countries has been immediately banned.
In his tweet, Asad Omar said that it has become more important to vaccinate all citizens aged 12 years and above.
It may be recalled that three days ago, the experts of South Africa revealed about the new modified type of Corona and said that about two dozen citizens in one province have been diagnosed with it.
African experts have dubbed the new type of corona B1.wind.five to nine and feared it could spread rapidly.
Medical experts also say that this type of corona can be more dangerous than in the past.
