Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has reduced the call per minute
Reduced calls per minute on mobile phones from 70 paise to 50 paise per minute.
According to a statement issued by PTA, the reduction in MTR was made after consultation with the telecom industry, with effect from January 1, 2022.
According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), from January to June, MTR will be 50 paisa per minute, while from July 2022 to June 2023, MTR will be 40 paisa per minute.
A PTA spokesperson said that mobile users will be able to take advantage of more competitive and innovative offers like free minutes of net bundles.
According to the PTA, there were requests for review of existing telecom operators after which MTR has been fixed for local, long and international calls.
