Robert D. Manfred Jr. (conceived September 28, 1958) is an American legal counselor and business chief who is the 10th and current Commissioner of Major League Baseball. He recently filled in as the Chief Operating Officer of Major League Baseball (MLB) and succeeded Bud Selig as Commissioner on January 25, 2015.

Rob Manfred Early Education:
Manfred was brought into the world on September 28, 1958, in Rome, New York. He went to Rome Free Academy and graduated in 1976. Manfred enlisted at Le Moyne College from 1976 through 1978 preceding moving to Cornell University.
He procured his Bachelor of Science from Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 1980 and his Juries Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1983, where he was a manager of the Harvard Law Review.
After graduate school, Manfred clerked for Judge Joseph L. Tauro of the U.S. Region Court for the District of Massachusetts from 1983 to 1984.
He then, at that point, joined the law office Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, where he worked in on work and business law.
2021 All-Star Game relocation:
On April 2, 2021, Manfred declared that the 2021 All-Star Game would be moved from Atlanta in dissent of a democratic change law passed by Georgia's council.
The move was upheld by President Joe Biden and the ML BPA, the last option of whom asserted that the law "lopsidedly disappoints the Black people group." The choice was gone against both by Republican state authorities including lead representative Brian Kemp and by a few noticeable Georgia Democrats including extremist and previous gubernatorial applicant Stacey Abrams and congressperson Raphael Warnock.
The Atlanta Braves likewise went against the move, commenting that they were "profoundly disillusioned" by Manfred's choice and "organizations, workers and fans in Georgia are the survivors of this choice."
On April 5, Manfred reported that Coors Field in Denver, Colorado would have the All-Star Game.
Personal life of Rob Manfred:
Growing up in Upstate New York, Manfred was an aficionado of the New York Yankees.
His dad drove the Rome, New York, division of Revere Copper and Brass, while his mom was a teacher. He has a more seasoned sister and a more youthful brother.
Manfred and his better half, Colleen, have four kids; Megan, Michael, Jane and Mary Clare. Megan wedded Timothy Petrella of Minnetonka, Minnesota, child of the leader of UnitedHealthcare Community and State, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Furthermore, Michael wedded Ashley Allen at Catholic Church of the Transfiguration in Tarry town, New York.
Manfred fills in as a Board part at Catholic School of Holy Child in Rye, New York.
